Sussex Heritage Trust

Sussex Heritage Trust is a Registered Charity established in 1977 to preserve, improve and encourage the appreciation of the architectural and natural heritage of Sussex.

We do this in several ways:

• By taking an active interest in Sussex conservation issues
• By highlighting, surveying and reporting on Buildings at Risk
• By working with local authorities on heritage projects
• By giving advice on restoration and repair
• By encouraging and assisting owners of heritage properties
• By offering a membership scheme with:
• Special discounts for all Sussex Heritage Trust events
• Discounts and offers at a number of restaurants, hotels and attractions throughout Sussex
• A directory of specialist craftsmen in Sussex

The Awards Scheme, started in 1998, has brought to light many fine examples of conservation, preservation and rejuvenation projects across the county.
