This will involve the laying of a wire mesh approximately 150mm under the grass of the churchyard and around the base of headstones.
Headstone Recording ProjectOctober 2011
CBAS Ltd working with volunteers from Hastings Area Archaeological Research Group (HAARG) will record details from all the headstones in the graveyard.

An application was submitted to Hastings Borough Council for Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent. (Approved)
Application for Scheduled Ancient Monument ConsentJanuary-March 2012
An application was made to English Heritage with the proposed specification for the works. (Approved)
Wild Life Survey 1May 2012
British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) will complete a wild life survey of the churchyard
Community Archaeological DigApril 2012
Chris Butler Archaeological Services (CBAS) working with volunteers from Hastings Area Archaeological Group (HAARG) and other volunteers will excavate the ground within the church.
Main repairs contractMay-October 2012
This will include comprehensive repairs to the ruins, the installation of a new staircase, new access path and entrance etc.
History House Exhibition21 June � 23 July 2012

Open Day at the Church8 September 11-5pm
Heritage Open Days (HOD�s) runs from 6-9 September. This will include tours of the church, including the tower, tea and cakes etc. www.heritageopendays.org
Open Air Service9 September 10.30 am
As part of HODs a service will be held at the church to be followed by a picnic.
